Dennis Thompson's Profile and Contact Information

Denny graduated from Kent Roosevelt High School where he lettered in football and wrestling. He joined the insurance business after graduating from Ohio University in June 1977. He majored in Accounting while on a football scholarship; while there he met his wife Chris. They have three grown children who all graduated from Ohio University.

Professionally he has obtained his Chartered Property and Causality Underwriters and Certified Insurance Counselors designations. He is also very active at the First Congregational Church of Tallmadge where he is the past Moderator. He has served his community in many capacities a few which include Past President of the Akron Jaycees, the Tallmadge Chamber of Commerce and was the Chairman of the 1989 World Series of Golf at Firestone CC.
